Soon as news of Manjula's death broke, her colleagues from the film fraternity took to social media to offer their homage. Manjula has performed with renowned actors of yesteryears- Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, M. Manjula has acted in more than 100 films in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. One of her daughters, Sri Devi is also a South Indian actress.She is survived by her husband Vijayakumar and three daughters. She became popular in Telugu after her role in Venkatesh's 'Chanti'. She debuted as a child artiste in the year 1969 with Shanthi Nilaya in Tamil. South Indian actress Manjula Vijayakumar (59) passed away in Chennai on Tuesday.
